Background & culture

CommsLearning was formed in 2002 by Andy Edwards. The company was formed initially to deliver technical training to the customers of a large manufacturer of network testing equipment to the telecommunications market.
Back in 2002 we were all based in small home offices, we’re now in large purpose-built offices in Surrey, England and Auckland, New Zealand.
In 2005, due to ever increasing requirements for the region, we opened the Australasian office in Auckland, New Zealand.
Drawing on the skills developed in the early days, where we mainly focused on instructor-led technical training, we’ve nurtured and grown the team. Joined in 2006 by Paul Service and in 2009 by James Penny we have continued to focus on developing a broad range of products and services to meet the growing needs of our customers.
In addition to developing the building blocks of our business we have also created a culture and style unique to CommsLearning. We care passionately about our customers, our team and our business partners. We know that by working together we have a better chance of achieving the results we all desire.
That’s why we foster a culture of collaboration and mutual support. We share ideas; we find inspiration everywhere and are constantly trying to push the boundaries of our creativity. All this change and development has grown CommsLearning into what it is today, a blended learning consultancy with a wide range of skills and resources to meet any customer requirement.
If you want a technical training session on ‘IT fundamentals’, a sales-skills seminar, a product training E-Learning, a day of consultation in how to cross-sell and up sell the products and services in your portfolio, a webinar on how to increase customer loyalty...or any number of business changing things, tailored especially for you, CommsLearning can be your learning partner.
