When selling through business partners is important

Situation:

Vodafone had recruited many new business partners to resell their leading edge mobile solutions for business. Many of these partners where new to selling, or had hired sales staff who were quite junior. Whilst Vodafone had a comprehensive Sales Academy, with well proven courses, there was a need for an introductory course, to ready the sales people for the Academy’s more advanced programs.

Solution:

CommsLearning designed a custom 1 day course for Vodafone using the sales module matrix. The course called “Business Sales Fundamentals” covered the fundamentals of communication, presenting and selling. The course took the attendees through the steps of preparing a telephone script, using the phone to get an appointment, dealing with the face to face meeting and presenting. The day also included the essential skills of time management and opportunity management.
